“ TLDR: I would give this place 6 stars if I could! Very friendly staff. Small cafe. I wouldn't eat here. Even though there are a few high tables and chairs, everything is super packed. The bagels are meant to be taken to-go. Ahh but the bagels... soft and chewy on the inside. Slightly hard on the outside, but only as a contrast in texture. I love the chewiness, I can tell they're steamed right. Even the cream cheese is nice and soft. I could see someone in the back, scooping the cheese into small containers. Everything seems to be hand-made! No machines here! I will definitely come back for the delicious bagels. Honestly, better than any I've had in the Bay Area. Could even rival New York City! ”

“ I stopped by here to pick up breakfast for my family and everyone ordered something different, and everything was great. I was basic and just got a sesame bagel with cream cheese but the bagel was wonderful. It was lightly toasted and the cream cheese was served in a small container on the side. It was more than enough to smear on both halves generously. My Mom ordered the Twilight on a garlic bagel, my son got egg (a real egg! not a powdered one!) and cheese on an everything bagel, and my daughter got a brown sugar cinnamon bagel with cream cheese. Everyone really enjoyed their food and we'll definitely eat here again. The service was friendly but not very fast. It is a very busy little place and they don't cut corners by having the eggs pre-cooked or anything like that so you will wait a little bit for an order. (I waited about 17 minutes for the order I placed in person.) This is a small place but has a few tables inside with seating. It's decorated with a desert motif and it's quite nice. ”

“ Desert Sun bagel scores with desert sunrise bagel (like a McMuffin with choice of meat) and the oasis bagel (with meat or not, but definitely egg, spinach, red onion and tomato). The Oasis bagel wins with its light taste of spinach and red onion with the eggs and cheese (add bacon please). Yum to Desert Bagel, near 4th Street and Valley. Will be back for more. Lots of variety on the bagel choices too. Service is great and ambience is just right for early morning take out or eat right outside at sidewalk tables. ”

“ Came in for a quick breakfast. Upon going in, it was so much tinier than I expected. It was uncomfortable and hot. If you're looking for a place to sit and eat, this ain't it. Definitely more of a grab and go, which is what I was looking for anyway since this was right before work. There were a lot of people inside which made me hopeful that the food was good, and I was not disappointed! I ordered a veggie bagel and it was sooooo delicious. Maybe the best bagel I've ever had. There are so many bagel sandwiches and sooo many bagel bread and cream cheese options. You could go every day and it would take forever to run out of options. I was so happy with my sandwich and can't wait to try. Service was good, employees were friendly. Food was amazing. Wait was long, but well worth it ”

“ Bagels, bagel sandwiches, and schmears are scrumptious. After 5 visits I finally remembered to take pictures before digging in! The Desert Sunrise bagel sandwich and the jalapeño cheddar bagel with garden garlic schmear are my personal favorites. Today however I ordered a cheddar bagel with garden garlic cream cheese, which was also really good. The inside of the shop is small, so although there are tables and chairs it is more comfortable to take your order to go or eat on the patio outside. They do have a rewards program, which is nice if you plan to be a repeat customer! ”
